1. Who We Are
Kineta is a fitness session management platform for trainers and trainees. Kineta helps trainers manage clients, groups, sessions, attendance, payments, notes, reminders, and chat, and helps trainees view schedules, communicate with trainers, and manage participation.

2. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Kineta mobile app, Kineta website and invite pages, backend services, APIs, realtime messaging, notifications, billing-related services, waitlist, feedback, and support communications.
Third-party services such as Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Sentry, Expo, ElevenLabs, AWS, and email providers may process data under their own privacy policies when they provide platform, infrastructure, payment, diagnostic, or communication services.
3. Personal Data We Collect
Account and profile
Name, email, password credentials, Apple or Google sign-in identifiers, phone number, date of birth, language, timezone, profile description, profile image, trainer or trainee role, account status, verification status, and settings.
Trainer and trainee records
Trainer-trainee relationships, member profiles, invites, invite links and codes, invite status, acceptance status, and placeholder member records created by trainers.
Training and business data
Sessions, activities, schedules, recurrence, duration, attendance, groups, locations entered by users, cancellation reasons, and trainer-entered member payment tracking.
Content and communications
Notes, note visibility, chat messages, reactions, read status, typing events, content reports, block records, moderation snapshots and actions, uploaded images, audio submitted for transcription, saved transcripts, feedback, and support messages.
Billing and subscription data
Subscription status, RevenueCat customer identifiers, product identifiers, entitlements, purchase dates, expiration dates, invoice metadata, and billing provider events. Kineta does not collect payment card numbers directly.
Technical and device data
IP address, user agent, device platform, device name, Expo push token, notification preferences, Android install referrer invite code, app interactions, crash data, performance data, diagnostics, and activity logs.
4. How We Use Data
- To create, authenticate, verify, and protect accounts.
- To provide trainer and trainee features, including sessions, groups, attendance, notes, chat, invitations, and notifications.
- To manage subscriptions, entitlements, billing records, and invoice metadata.
- To provide speech-to-text transcription when you request it.
- To send transactional emails, verification codes, password reset emails, invites, announcements, service messages, and push notifications.
- To provide support, handle feedback, and process account deletion or privacy requests.
- To filter objectionable chat content, receive and review safety reports, apply user blocks, investigate abuse, preserve relevant evidence, and enforce these Terms.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, debug errors, improve reliability, and comply with legal, tax, accounting, platform, and regulatory obligations.
5. Legal Bases
Where EU, EEA, or UK data protection law applies, we process personal data under contract, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligation, depending on the feature and context.
6. Sharing and Providers
We share data only when needed to provide, secure, support, or comply with obligations for Kineta. Providers may include hosting and database providers, AWS S3 or equivalent storage, transactional email providers, Expo push notifications, Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Sentry, ElevenLabs, Google Tag Manager or website analytics/tag tooling, and professional advisors or authorities when required.
Other Kineta users may see information needed for shared features, such as profile name/image, trainer or trainee relationship information, group or session membership, attendance, notes or messages shared with them, and notifications involving them.
Kineta does not sell personal data. Based on the current product design, Kineta does not use third-party advertising SDKs or cross-app advertising tracking.
7. Website Tags and Cookies
The Kineta website may use Google Tag Manager or similar tooling to manage website tags. Depending on the configured tags, this may involve cookies, page views, device/browser data, and interaction data. If non-essential analytics or marketing tags are used where consent is required, Kineta will request consent before enabling them.
8. Retention and Deletion
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce agreements.

9. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, receive a portable copy of, withdraw consent for, or complain about the processing of your personal data.
You can manage some data in the app, including profile details, notification preferences, content deletion, and account deletion. For other privacy requests, contact info@kineta.app.
10. Permissions, Security, Children, and Changes
Kineta may request access to photos or media library for image uploads, microphone/audio for voice-to-text notes, and notifications for reminders, chat alerts, session updates, and announcements. You can change device permissions in iOS or Android settings.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure.
Kineta is not intended for children under the minimum age required by applicable law. We may update this Privacy Policy when our product, providers, or legal obligations change.
